Pat Robertson, the apparently mentally deranged preacher-man, has predicted "mass killing" in the United States in 2007, by terrorists. He says that God has warned him, personally, about it, but that "the Lord didn't say [it would] be nuclear." Apparently, the Lord thought it was better to tell Pat about this than, say, Michael Chertoff, the secretary of homeland security. From USA Today:
In what has become an annual tradition of prognostications, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson said Tuesday God has told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would result in "mass killing" late in 2007."I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said during his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network. "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."
Robertson said God told him during a recent prayer retreat that major cities and possibly millions of people will be affected by the attack, which should take place sometime after September.
Robertson said God also told him that the U.S. only feigns friendship with Israel and that U.S. policies are pushing Israel toward "national suicide."

I feel so much better now, knowing God has informed Pat "rightwinger" Robertson what is going to happen here in the US.
Couldn't he tell us who the Dem's are going to run instead?

If Robertson is so blessed as to actually receive personal communications from The Lawd why didn't he put his two-pennies in and ask the Lawd to avert this catastrophe?
After all, if an American city was wiped out surely Pat would stand to lose 700 Club revenue from at least some of the gullible fools that live there.
